If We Were Having Green Tea November 17

If we were having green tea  the first word out of my mouth would probably be ‘ahhh’. It has been a manic month and I am exhausted! It will only get busier on the run up to Christmas and as fun as that sounds I really need time to slow the hell down. It feels like it was only yesterday that I was getting strange looks from people when I was talking about Halloween and now it’s over, how did that happen?

If we were having green tea I probably wouldn’t be able to shut up about my new job because, I genuinely can’t I am so excited for the future and happy about my decision that I can’t stop telling everyone. I have been in my position nearly a month now and although it’s challenging (particularly trying to get my head around LinkedIn, I stared at the screen for an extraordinary amount of time trying to figure out what to write) but it feels so right and I am having so much fun.

If we were having green tea I would be talking about the excitement I have about seeing everyone I love in the run up to Christmas, I am currently trying to set dates in place with everyone so that I can have a good catch up with everyone.

If we were having green tea I would ask if you are watching Our Girl, because if not, why not? I love that show and I am really into it this year although I don’t think anything could beat the previous series! I also started (and got up to date) with Riverdale which I found really gripping although I’m still not sure I know whats happening in it.

If we were having green tea I would be gushing about our annual trip to the pumpkin patch for Halloween! I love the setting, the atmosphere and how blooming autumnal everything is, it really is the perfect day out. I am excited for the Fireworks night in Rushden tomorrow, if I’m honest I love Autumnal events, I live for them.

If we were having green tea, as always, I would ask, how are you? What have you been up to? And what would you tell me?

  1. If we were having green tea, I’d tell you I somehow haven’t come across Our Girl but I saw the first season of Riverdale and really enjoyed it, even though I thought it would be a tad too young for me from what I’d heard. If we were having green tea, I’d tell you I’m coming down with the flu (again!!) and so I’ll be having a quiet night at home, but I hope you have a fab time watching the pretty fireworks! 🙂
