September Favourites

September has been a blooming chaotic month for me so sitting down to write this post was a hard one because what have I enjoyed? Do I remember in the blur of everything else? I think so. I picked items that popped into my head and thought what a weird bunch but hey, at least it’s all truthful.

An unexpected turn happened because you know the Pink Parcel box last month that I reviewed; do you remember me telling you that I wasn’t too thrilled? Well guess who has fell in love with the nail polish she wasn’t overly keen on. Of course I bloody well did. I have fallen in love with it, hard. It’s vibrant, shiny as hell, really strong (although not completely ship resistant but is pretty good) and the packaging is so god damned pretty. I have had so many comments on how nice it looks and to be honest, I really feel like an idiot for doubting it.

At the start of the month my lips were not responding well to the change in weather, they were cracked, dry and I even had a cut where it had dried out so much when my wonderful boyfriend turned up to my house with a bottle of Riesling and a Burt’s Bees Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint, long story short, it solved all my issues. My lips are now lusciously soft and I am not letting this out of my sight. Does anyone else find that they own so many lip balms but as soon as you need one they all run away to hides at the back of your drawers? It’s a curse, I’m sure of it.

Is anyone else obsessed with Dr Foster? I near on had a mental breakdown watching the first series a couple of weeks ago (yes, I know I’m behind) and OH MY GOD! I was gripped. If you haven’t watched it then you need to start because wow, it honestly left me speechless and I’m sure as you can gather from my blog posts that speechless Courtney NEVER happens. I am on edge watching it and I just don’t get how Simon is such an evil human, it’s honestly baffling to me. I have to keep reminding myself that it isn’t real, or rather Max has to keep reminding me. If you have a spare day I definitely recommend sitting down and binge watching it all.

Food was written on the list of favourites because I like to add what I have been obsessing about recently and being such a foodie means I fall in love with foods, admittedly I then eat them so much that I go off them but, we won’t talk about that sad story. This month I got introduced to the Belvita Soft Bakes and I fell head over heels in love. They are soft, cookie like with chocolate chips and they don’t make you feel like you are being naughty. Another thing I can’t stop snacking on this month is the _______, Max bought me them as a present for getting my new job. I cannot stop eating them. They are caramel bits covered in orange flavoured chocolate covered in cocoa powder and they are heaven! I love the packaging as well because it looks just like an old fashioned sweet shop.

What have you been loving this month? Is there anything I should try next month?
