First things first, I am ever so sorry that my holiday posts are so fucking long, I cannot stop writing when it comes to them. I hate to admit it but I think it may be down to the fact that my packing list is so extreme but shh, don’t tell anyone. Basically it only felt right to follow up my travel posts with more travel posts because as you read this I will be in sunny (I hope) Salou with 15 other crazy humans I like to call my family (sometimes, other times I tell people I don’t have a fucking clue who they are) so today’s post is what’s in my travel make up bag.
What you should know about me is that I am indecisive as fuck and therefore need a lot of shit because I know if I don’t bring something with me I will be in a mood with myself, hence the 38 products in may travel make up bag so I decided to split them into face/base, eyes, lips and tools so strap in again hons, grab a snack and something to drink and let’s begin.
Let’s start with face, and it’s going to be a list because seriously, I will be here for weeks writing this post if I try to go through each one by one. The face products coming with me are as below.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit
- P.S Pure Glow Highlighter
- Urban Decay Naked Skin Finishing Powder
- NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
- Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation
- MAC Blusher
- Hoola by Benefit
- Urban Decay Naked Concealer
- Make Up Revolution Banana Powder
- NYX Photo-Loving Primer
- All Night Setting Spray by Urban Decay
- Touche Eclat by YSL
I wanted to bring a range of products so I could do an absolute full face if we go out for dinner or anything cause you know, photos and stuff right down to products that can be used on their own to brighten up my face AKA hide my hangover bags from under my eyes. I probably could have done without packing the contour kit in all honesty but if I do end up doing a full face I know I will be sad that I didn’t have it. I bought two setting sprays because the All Nighter one is obviously holy grail but I don’t like wearing it every day, probably due to the fact that it feels like I am literally spraying my money away (on that note, does anyone go through setting sprays super fast? I do and it’s bloody annoying). Primer is 100% needed if I don’t want my make up to slide off my face within the first 10 minutes so for me, the NYX one is a great pick, it seems to not let my make up budge and it creates a barrier so that my foundation doesn’t sink into my skin.
Basically hons, if you have any questions about my views on any of these products give me shout but because most of them are my everyday go to for base I am taking them because I cannot imagine life without them.
